Andrew had over 35 years’ experience of advising trustees, members and employer sponsors of pension schemes. Since 2017 he has chaired trustees at a number of master trusts, stand-alone DB and DC schemes.
In recent years he has been elected (& re-elected) to the PLSA DC Council and worked with the PLSA’s Adequacy Steering Group to analyse the UK’s pension adequacy gap. Andrew has been a member of the Asset Security Working Group to produce practical guidance for trustees on security and, in particular, the workings of the FSCS. He has also sat on PASA’s DC Governance Group developing administration standards.
