Jeff is the Head of Finance for Swansea Council, having joined the Authority in 2003 as Group Manager, Treasury & Pensions. One of his main areas of responsibility is the operational management (both investments and administration) of the £2.6 billion, 47,000 member City & County of Swansea Local Government Pension Scheme.
He is a member of the Officer Working Group of the Wales Pension Partnership (WPP) which supports and advises the governance arrangements of the WPP, comprising of the eight Welsh LGPS with assets totalling approx. £18 billion and is also a member of the CIPFA Pension Panel.
Prior to Swansea, as a chartered certified accountant, he worked in private practice and industry before joining the Public Sector where he advised on Capital and PFI projects in the NHS in England & Wales, before joining Swansea Council.
